Executive Tech Leadership - AI Training
Most AI budgets run out in month six.
Not from a lack of ambition, but from gaps in architecture, capability, and governance. Poorly designed and vibe-coded systems ignore scale, burn expensive tokens, and ship with no oversight and huge technical debt. We build the AI capability inside your organization, the architecture, the controls, and the people, so your project succeeds and your next project has the foundation it needs.
2–4× lower spend, with no drop in quality.
The two failures
AI does not break on the demo. It breaks at scale.
Almost every stalled AI initiative we see traces back to the same two gaps, in architecture and in governance. They are structural, not technical, and they compound.
No architecture that scales
The system that dazzled in the demo falls over in production. Token usage climbs, costs outrun the plan, and a prototype that was never built to scale becomes the thing the business depends on.
No governance mechanism
No spend caps, no audit trail, no policy on which models run where. Cost and risk run unchecked, and no one can answer what was spent, on what, or whether it was allowed.
What we deliver
Three pillars: design, capability, and governance.
Not just the technology. The leadership, the policy, and the in-house capability that keep AI working after we leave.
Architecture that scales
The foundation most AI projects skip, built to scale from prototype to production and to cost what it should.
- AI architecture and system design that is provider-independent and built to scale.
- Model optimization with hybrid routing and a memory layer that cut spend 2–4× with no drop in quality.
- Resilience through automatic fallback to cheaper or local models, invisible to the user.
Capability you keep
Your people are the capability. We advise your leadership and build the skills in parallel, so the foundation stays when we leave.
- Executive and board advisory. AI strategy, an AI operating model, and a roadmap your board can stand behind. Fractional CAIO, CTO, COO, and CHRO.
- Capability building. We design the solutions and governance while training your executives, product, and project managers to work with AI.
- Programs and apprenticeships. Credentialed pathways and blended learning that build practitioners, not slideware.
Governance that holds
Most AI ships with no oversight. We put the policy, controls, and accountability in place before it becomes a liability.
- AI policy and acceptable-use frameworks. Clear rules for what AI can be used for, by whom, and how, written for your organization.
- Responsible AI, risk, and compliance. Model approval, bias and safety review, and the documentation boards and regulators expect.
- Budget, audit, and observability. Hard spend caps before every call, a full inference audit trail, and a soft fallback that protects the experience.
Who you work with
Not a bench. A network matched to your challenge.
We do not put the same people on every problem. For each engagement we assemble senior advisors from a deep network of technology, people, marketing, and learning leaders. Every one carries startup and Fortune 500 senior leadership experience.
Engineering and AI leaders who have scaled platforms in production and cut inference cost while doing it.
HR executives for hypergrowth, culture, employee relations, and M&A integration.
Advisors who stand up and run apprenticeship programs as the intermediary and group sponsor, and deliver the Related Technical Instruction.
Advisors who build the data and marketing stack that scales with the business.
Leaders who design credentialed programs and the systems that deliver them at scale.
Advisors who put cost, audit, and policy controls around production AI.
How we work
We design the solution and build your team’s capability at the same time.
We design the AI solutions and the governance frameworks your organization needs. In parallel, we train your executives, product managers, and project managers to work with AI. When the engagement ends, the capability stays with your team, ready for the next project.
Who we help
One thesis. Three ways to put it to work.
The advantage that lasts is capability you own, not a tool you rent or a consultant you keep paying. We deliver it as Capability as a Service: advisory that sticks, a workforce you grow through apprenticeship, and an education that is more than training, with mentorship and a community network we bring you into, all built around real capability and credentialed against an independent, community-backed standard. Three ways to put it to work, and the capability stays yours.
Build the foundation with us
You have outgrown the setup that got you here. We step in as fractional technology, operations, and people leadership and build the AI foundation that carries you to the next stage.
- Fractional CTO, CAIO, and CHRO
- Custom teams of fractional slices
- Board and executive advisory
- AI architecture and cost optimization
- HR advisory and HR systems integration
- People and culture through hypergrowth
- M&A technology and HR integration
Proof / BuildFor a media operation we built an AI pipeline that turns a raw feed of links into a fact-checked, grouped, and narrated publication every week, with the human editor in command.
Proof / BuildEvery AI system we build runs on one governed gateway: each model call metered for cost, capped by a spend circuit breaker, failed over automatically, and blocked from ever sending personal data to an outside model.
Develop your Team through Training and Community
Your people are your AI capability. Our programs combine live discussion, self-paced online learning, and AI-augmented mentorship into one seamless experience that builds real skills and a network of peers, turning managers and executives into practitioners who ship governed, scalable AI.
- AI Project Manager apprenticeship
- Chief AI Officer executive program
- Related Technical Instruction, delivered by us
- Credential backed by an independent non-profit
- Curated open discussions with peers and practitioners
- Ecosystem development across your industry and ours
- Community-guided capabilities that evolve with the field
Proof / TrainOur learning platform combines live instruction with classical techniques like video, tied together by an AI-native platform that easily customizes the content to each employer and learner, with standards-based knowledge checks on an open, portable curriculum.
Build workforce capability through apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are one of the most effective ways to grow durable, in-house capability and a reliable talent pipeline. We make them work at scale, acting as the intermediary so the program builds your workforce instead of your paperwork.
- Workforce development and talent pipelines
- Apprenticeship intermediary and group sponsorship
- Program design, registration, and management
- Compliance and audit automation at scale
Proof / WorkforceWe built registered-apprenticeship Related Technical Instruction that blends classical coursework, video and quizzes, with AI advisors, tied together by an AI-native system that assesses mastery and tracks every instructional hour audit-ready.
Proof / WorkforceThe laborious manual workflows behind apprenticeship, registration, hour logging, and compliance paperwork, are a common pain point that keeps programs from scaling. We build the automation that fixes it, so a program grows without growing its back office.
Why it is credible
We sell it, we teach it, and our own platform runs on it.
The platform behind our training uses the same architecture we sell to clients: provider-independent model routing, a memory layer that avoids repeat spend, and budget and audit controls enforced on every call. The CAIO, AI in the Workplace, and AI PM curricula teach the foundations and capabilities. Our own systems are built on them. This very site is one of them: it reads intent from how you engage and adapts in real time, and every model call runs through one governed gateway, so no personal data is ever sent to an outside model. The proof is the product, not the pitch.
What brings you in?
Most teams land here for one of three reasons. Pick the closest, or ask me something.
How this works
This panel is the product itself: a tap-only conversational engine that adapts to you in place, with no text box.
- Route by cost, not by reflex. This page opens on a low-cost model, upgrades to a frontier model only once you actually engage, then steps back down and caps out. The running model spend is printed live at the bottom of this panel.
- Govern spend with a hard stop. A graduated circuit breaker caps spend per hour and per day. If it trips, the page keeps working on the cheap model or replays cached cards, so a bill can't run away while someone leaves a tab open.
- Instrument every model call. Every call goes through one gateway that records tokens, cost, and latency. That single chokepoint is why we can show you a real dollar figure instead of a guess.
- Compact memory, and let it fade. We keep a small structured profile instead of a transcript, and it forgets on purpose: a passing news read fades fast, a real choice sticks. No permanent dossier.
- Ground answers in real sources. Each substantive turn retrieves one relevant principle from our own curriculum or a real case study, rather than dumping everything or inventing it.
- Respect the person. Tap-only by default, consent-gated, no hidden text capture, and the host refuses dark patterns by name. Ask what this is and you get a straight answer.
- Static-first resilience. If the AI layer fails, you still get a complete, human-written page. Every adaptive behavior is progressive enhancement that fails invisibly to that baseline.

Why now
We are at the steep part of the curve.
AI is leaving its flat early phase and entering the steep climb. The gap between organizations that build capability now and those that wait is about to widen fast. The advantage goes to whoever is ready first.
